Bucky x ShyReader (part two)

A month after that little incident and you had met up with the guy five times already. And it didn't matter what you did, you felt at ease when you were with him. You couldn't explain it you didn't even feel at ease like that with your own family for Pete’s sake! You decided to ask if you could hang out more than once a week. It was having a good influence on you. You had started to worry less about going out in public. You got better at your editing job finding you could talk through things easier without worrying about offending anyone. Above all you really liked being around him. So this time it was you who called him.
“Hello? (y/n)” he said through the phone.
“Hey Bucky! I was just wondering if you were free again this week. And if you wanted to go for a walk in the park or something?”
“It would be my pleasure. How does Saturday sound?”
“Sounds great. Do you want me to meet you there or?”
“You know what You should meet me at my apartment. I will text you the address. Okay?”
“Sure. See you Saturday.”
“See you then.” You click the end call button a few minutes later you get a text with his address through. You sigh. Time to wait for Saturday.

Saturday came before you even knew it. You dressed and messed around on your computer for a while. Waiting was so boring! The time finally came for you to walk over to his apartment. You dug out your phone and checked the address. Then you threw your purse, phone and keys into your bag (once you had locked the door) and set off to Bucky’s apartment. It was relatively easy to find even if it was the other side of town. You knocked on the door.
“(Y/N). Hi come in I’m nearly ready just sit yourself down and I will be back in a minute.” He goes off down the hall leaving you in the living room. You glance around the room and can’t help but notice how tidy everything is. Nothing is out of place. You wonder how he keeps everything so tidy. A few moments later he comes out.
“Ready to go?” He asks.
“Sure.” You follow him out of the apartment and outside.
“So was there any reason for us to hang out today?” He asks innocently. You want to blush but manage to keep it off your face.
“No. I just like spending time with you is all.  It can get rather lonely when you aren't around people all that much. I mean my other friends don’t talk to me all that much. I don’t think you could even consider my other friends as friends. Does that make sense?” you ask knowing you have a tendency to confuse people.
“Perfect sense. Your friends don’t seem like friends to you.” He answers.
“Exactly! I think you are the closest thing I've had to a real friend.” He glances at you.
“You must not have had a lot of friends then.” You smirk. That was an understatement if ever there was one.
“No. I haven’t usually it takes a lot for me to trust someone. They have to prove that they are worthy. Oh wow now I sound like some stuck up prat.” He laughs at that.
“So have I proved myself?” you giggle at that. He can turn any serious conversation to a light-hearted one so easily.
“I’m not sure yet. You seem to be a very trustworthy person and at the same time there is something that shouts mystery at me. I've yet to make up my mind but you've come the closest so far.” You keep walking for a few minutes when you see Bucky glancing around nervously. You can tell something is wrong.
“Bucky what’s wrong? Tell me it’s nothing bad.” You say calmly as possible.
“(y/n) you are going to have to trust me on this. there is someone following us. Or more specifically me. They are very dangerous and I don’t want you to get hurt so you are going to have to do exactly as I say. Are you with me?” Your mind starts to panic. You have no idea what you are going to do. Who was this guy before you met him? How do you know whether to trust him or not? What are you going to do? You try to think through this. If you run now there is a chance the guy following you may go after you. So that is a no. If you go with Bucky there is a chance you could be in danger. Hell any choice you make may put you in danger. You figure that you will be in the least amount of danger if you follow Bucky. And they are less likely to make a move if you stay together.
“I’m with you.”
